WALK: 10.4km | GRADE: Easy | ENVIRONMENT: Coastal Forest/Farmland

Located only minutes from the Cape Schank lighthouse turn-off, on the Mornington Peninsula is the Long Point reserve. Long Point hike criss-crosses Main Creek starting out in open farmland and descending into the valley where thicker pockets of bush exist. Kangaroos, bunnies and foxes proliferate on the higher ground amongst the grass and low lying scrub. Wallabies and echidna’s can be found along the track running parallel to Main and Lightwood creek. Great spot to visit if after a quick fix of kangaroo exploits only minutes from the carpark.
